About Score Guardian
How ScoreGuardian™ Works:

When you sign up for ScoreGuardian you will be assigned to an Authorized Credit Guardian™ who will contact you every 120 days to provide a professional credit consultation.

Once every 120 days (or about 4 months) your personal Authorized Credit Guardian will have a credit consultation with you to discuss the following:

  • New accounts appearing on your credit report and recent inquiries. This is your first line of defense against identify theft or credit fraud.

  • Your current credit score. Together you will review your current score and discuss ways to increase it.

  • Your current debt and equity situation. A debt and equity analysis will ensure you are in the best mortgage programs.

  • Any other questions. In speaking with your personal Authorized Credit Guardian you will have the opportunity to ask questions regarding credit, debt management, or the real estate and mortgage market in general.

The ScoreGuardian service not only allows you to regularly monitor your credit, it also gives you the expert personal assistance of an Authorized Credit Guardian who is a financial professional and a certified expert at reading and understanding credit reports. Having visibility into your credit is more important than ever and your Authorized Credit Guardian is dedicated to helping your credit be the best it can be.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What is the main benefit of the ScoreGuardian™ service?

The main benefit of ScoreGuardian is to help you save money. Knowledge is power and by knowing your credit score and how to increase your score you will be able to negotiate better rates and terms on all your consumer debts. An Authorized Credit Guardian™ will work with you on an ongoing basis and provide you with up-to-date credit reports including a real lender FICO score, every 120 days. The higher your credit score is the lower your interest rates will be on your mortgage, auto, and installment loans. With a higher credit score you will likely also receive lower rates on your car and homeowners insurance.

Is ScoreGuardian a credit repair or credit monitoring service?

Neither. ScoreGuardian is not a credit repair service nor is it a traditional credit monitoring service. Most credit monitoring services provide your credit report to you but without professional counsel or your credit score. You will have the opportunity to see your credit report every 120 days provided to you by your Authorized Credit Guardian. If you have something on your credit report that is inaccurate your Authorized Credit Guardian will inform you.

Is my information secure?

What is an Authorized Credit Guardian?

An Authorized Credit Guardian is a financial professional in the credit and mortgage industry who is dedicated to keeping their client's credit scores as high as possible at all times.

Why not just subscribe to a free service to get my credit report like Free Credit Report.com?

There are several issues with most free credit report companies:

  1. Most consumers forget to review their credit on a consistent basis.
  2. Most of the "free" credit reporting companies are not actually free at all.
  3. The free services do not provide you a credit score (FICO) with your credit report.
  4. You do not get the professional advice of an Authorized Credit Guardian with other service. If you have an error on your report what do you do now?

This is why ScoreGuardian customers will find the most value in our service and why ScoreGuardian is simply something you can not afford to be without. ScoreGuardian customers will pay less interest on all their consumer debt throughout their lives by working with a credit, debt and equity management specialist — An Authorized Credit Guardian.

Does checking my credit lower my score?

ScoreGuardian is designed to have a negligible negative impact on your credit score. Every 120 days you will receive a new credit report from one of the three credit repositories. This way you receive only one credit inquiry per credit repository per year.
